I’m part of the planning committee for The 10 Things, a learning program my library is doing to introduce all staff members to web technologies. It’s pretty exciting to be a part of all this, and to see the light bulb click over people’s heads as they finally see what is so useful about some of these tools. While I won’t be doing the official Things as assigned on this blog, I will be posting some of the interesting occurrences I’ve run into throughout the course of the program.
I will also be attempting to turn this into a professional workblog, and finally start putting into practice what I’ve talked about doing for so long. Expect to see some cosmetic changes, a new domain name, and (get ready to cringe) a mission statement.
